Likes

The fees is very much affordable which allows very type of students to pursue this course.
The campus life is also very good the students are very friendly.
May company like TCS comes in college to provide placements.

Dislikes

The college timings is a bit concerning for evening students it starts for 5 pm .
Sometimes teachers are absent and they didn't inform that they won't be talking the lectures.
I think the college infrastructure is quite old it must be updated.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose bcom because I am also studying for CA so bcom is a must do course with CA. The faculty to students ratio is 1:50 The faculty is well educated and also I love their teaching. Term exam happenes in every 6 months and the level of paper is moderate to pass.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very affordable for one semester the fees is less then 3000 . Well I don't know any scholarships if they are providing but the fees is quite affordable so the chances of having a scholarship is less.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech fest happens once in a year in December. The library is very huge and all books are available and also in various languages. The college also arrange sports day very year. The social group are available on Instagram.

Admission

No i didn't took and entrance exam, Bcom takes 3 years to complete and addmission form is available online...the admission form is free of cost. I didn't know if there is any reservation benefits. The admission process is good I don't think it needs any improvement.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
