Narula Institute of Technology, a perspective by a 1st year.

I chose this course as I was interested in Computer Science field in general but couldn't get the CSE degree so I thought of pursuing CST which is Computer Science and Technology , which is a fairly similar field. Now the faculty, the faculty is neither good nor bad, some professors are there, which I personally don't like much, but some are very enthusiastic about their job. And no the exams were extended for some reasons we don't know but yeah, there is some mismanagement definitely and I've not yet given my exams but I'll share after giving.

I personally am not planning on depending on the college placements as to be honest, as they're not that great in my opinion, but the college definitely provides internship for many students I must say, but there's still a very BIG gap between many and all, there are many different companies which visits our college such as Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant this year the Highest one on the campus was given by Just pay which was about 28 LPA, but as I said, my plans differ total as I am going for the off campus journey.

The fee combined four years is around 5,40,000. The structure is a bit unique I must say as the semester fee for each sem is different, and I don't know why's that. There are many opportunities of Scholarship and financial assistance on student loans as well. And the job part, it's too early to decide on that one for me.

There are many events which happens in the college or so we've heard by our seniors but 5 months into the college and we're still faar away from the first one..., well not that far if I may add as we've heard the freshers is about to happen by the next month. There's a library for studying if you want to study, but they do not give you books to do so, and I don't know why is that.

I took the WBJEE which is West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and it was a good experience over-all, and then I got allotted to this college through the WBJEE exam Counselling only, on the second counselling to be precise, then I came here for admission and it was a hectic experience but a good one to be honest as I visited the place where I'll be spending my four years for the first time and at first the college looked good, the buildings were big, the classrooms were big and the playground was quite big as well.
