Course Curriculum Overview
I chose chemical engineering because of my rank and the course curriculum is quite flexible, you have classes and then some breaks to freshen yourself. The faculties are highly qualified with their phd's and the exams can be stressful if you don't have enough preparation
Internships Opportunities
Internships are highly sought after, the overall availability of internships were good but it could be better and the stipend differs from companies to companies but it was great, as for projects there are some great professors who work in interesting and innovative fields and working under them is very beneficial
Placement Experience
First we can get employment from internship programs but if not through placements and the placement cell plays an important part for many students and they bring many great companies. I want to pursue my Masters in abroad if possible
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is controversial but the system has a great function to ease students and their families, ITR returns. The internships are godd but particularly this there weren't many opportunities for students
Campus Life
Life at campus is quite good. The library is under construction but you can still go and borrow books from temp library. Classrooms are clean and modern with projector, led screen. Sports complex houses swimming pool, badminton courts and gym. Clubs are very welcoming to freshers and are great to work with seniors
Hostel Facilities
The room has a bed, table, chair and wardrobe with great internet connection. The mess food has improved since I joined. The registration process is very simple and I don't think I could rent a room with better facilities
Admission
The admission process was erratic, because there were many options to choose from and a restriction from the rank but at the end the resul was great! Josaa website needs to update its user interface to be more appealing
Other Applied Colleges
IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology - [IITB] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering)
I wasn’t qualified because of my rank
