I am not in college hostel but i have seen that hostel facility are amazing
canteen facility of both hostel and college are awesome
sports and other facilty are good, greeny of campus is well maintained

Dislikes

classroom have no AC. student face difficulty during summer time

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue an MBA, so I took Maths Hons as it will help me in future roles For every 30 students there is one professor. teachers are highly qualified and they teach amazing. End semesters are conducted every 6 months. internal carry more weightage than the theory exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities

245+ internships are offered with an average stipend of 18k and the highest 2.4 lakh roles that were offered in internships were analyst, business development, consultant, content writing, HR, Marketing, operations, finance, etc, if you are part of society than they also collaborate with a different startup so that society/ club can get an internship from startup.

Placement Experience

placement cell is the oldest placement cell operating under the du. is a student-driven body officiating as link between student and companies. last year 980+ recruiters willing to collaborate with the placement cell. different role like data analytics, business research, consulting, investment banking, hr , and content creation were offered.245+ internships were offered and the average stipend that was offered was 18k and highest was 4.2 lakh. average placement was 8.89 lpa and 140+ students were placed and highest placement was 36.5 lpa. after my graduation if i will be get placement of 8lpa or more than i will join job otherwise i will directly go for mba

Fees and Financial Aid

DU provides Various Scholarships and Financial assistance. some financial assistance is given based on merit also students whose family income is less than 3.5 lacs get 100% scholarship and students whose family income is less than 8 lacs get 50% scholarship. I am in the first year but I heard that in in 2nd and 3rd years get a stipend of 10k- 15k from the college placement cell and some get through the central placement cell.

Campus Life

in kmc, the renaissance is an annual fest that is conducted every year but due to covid it was stopped after 2019 this year it will be conducted most probably in February or March. Talking about the library it is 3 storey building lot of books and students are allowed to borrow 4 books from the library maximum. classroom are old styled but ventilation is great due to large room and windows in it. the college has amazing sports infrastructure it has a basketball court, cricket ground, football ground, boxing ring, and also one gym which is free for kmc students. there are many societies and clubs run by students in our college like Entrepreneurship Cell, Debating Society, 180dc, Enactus, (kartavya) UPSC Society.

Admission

my course is BSc mathematics hons. The Eligibility of my course was any one language from list A + Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which one should be list B1. we can take admission to DU through CUET. The admission process was smooth

Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . Admission process is through CUET , eligibility is a great score in CUET exam , cut offs usually remain 900+/1000 for political science honours in DU for good colleges like Hindu , LSR , Miranda and more ....Read More

My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
