Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in hardware Engineering. So i choose this stream There are enough faculty members for each students. The faculty members are highly educated. Our Hod is a former student of IIT KHARAGPUR. They teach us methodically and from root . There are 4 term exam in between each sem. They are quite tough.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies come to our college like tcs , cts ,wipro and many more. There are many science exhibition project competition organised in our college so we have performed many projects and research about it further

Placement Experience

From mainly last of 6 th sem we are available for college placement There are many company who visit our college like tcs ,wipro, cts, Capgemini, accentuate etc Highest package is 8 lpa and avg is 4 lpa Avg 96% student get placements I want take a job or mtech or mba

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very methodically arranged.which i highly appreciate. There are very minimal pressure for fees There are many government and private and scholarship for btech course. We can only apply in one government scholarship programme and many private scholarship programme.

Campus Life

There are four main fest organised in our college. There are two big library in our college and a library full of aitting facility and central ac. There are many books and journala available in here which we can read in s siting there. The class room facility is also good There are many sports event organised in here also There are 6 main clubs

Admission

You need to maintain your wbjee rank below 50000 and you can also find the application form in google and makaut website. There you get the information of required fees and dates. You can also call the helpline numbers for further information. For some time you can reserve sit in college . No, the process is very satisfying and i am happy with that.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

FIEM - The Nooks and Corners !

There were few colleges I applied to based on my WBJEE ranks . There was St. thomas college, techno college , heritage , msit and many more . If you know the way of how WBJEE admissions work , you will know we need to give a list of college and they would choose according to our preference and rank . Now according to that , I got this college . Well, if telling why I didn't get applied in other colleges which were much better it was due to my WBJEE rank , which was not that upto mark . Talking about the admission process , its just following the process of WBJEE admissions and on admission day providig the necessary documents needed by the college which will be informed ( or maybe we need to know) . If we talking about cut offs it changes every year so we need to look after it from previous years' cut off list . Also , you need to have atleast a good percent in both ICSE and ISC for admission....Read More
