And there is alots of subject but basically i choose this course for computer knowleadge.facaulty teachers are very helpful,qualifiedand knowlegeable the teaching quality is betterthe course curriculum is releavant to make students ready for the industry.

the fees structure is very suitable we pay fee yearly and the 1st year fees is 114650 which include all charges of college.after that fess is less 2nd year fee is 85900 then 89900 and last 93900 these are all total fees 3,84350. there is a scholorship for students who is from bihar and this scholorship is MNSSBY. this is best scholorships for students bihar with less interest. there is a campus placement and lots of company come and students seat for this company.

Campus Life

first time i see campus like this this is best campus for my life there is a ground like basketball, volleyball, cricket & badminton. library is very good place for studt it is a very silent place where go and study and read books. all type books are available in thic library. there is a fest happened in this college all year which is MAGNUS which goes 4days and students participate in all thing which in they interest also outcomers is allowed for participate there is alots of enjoyed this is kolkata best fest.

Hostel Facilities

i am not a hosteller but i know this is very best in cheapest price. there is a problem in mess food quality is not good. some day ago hostellers are make protest for catering of food after that faculty is increase the hostel fees instead there is no change.

Admission

admission to the b.tech will be done on the basis of jee main followed by counselling . for lateral entry candidates need to qualify in JELET conduct by the kolkata joint entrance examinations board. yes i came in this by wbjee. we process all the applications in according with the students as per the guidelines lead by AICTE to set respective admission. and cources b.tech CSE cutoff is 261462 of year 2023 amd cutoff of 2021 is 33351.

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.
