I chose ECE because it will give me a graduation degree and this is a branch of engineering through which one can go to core industry as well as I.T. sector easily. At First 5000 must be submitted to WBJEE Board for advance seat booking after seat is alloted. Then 1st time for admission and semester fees is 10500 and then exam fees additional 1200 to University and from 2nd semester onwards fees is 6000 but exam fees is 1200 only . Scholarships such as SVMCM ( Aikyashree) , Kanyashree, Oasis are applicable in RKMGEC. SVMCM minimum 60 % marks required to apply amount money 60k. Aikyashree ( for minorities) minimum 55% marks required rest same as SVMCM Oasis (for SC, ST, 0BCs) amount money 12k for OBCs and 18k for Sc , Sts. Kanyashree. for girls

Aikyatan is the annual cultural and tech fest of 2 days each and it is celebrated between April and May. Library is good , books are not always available, Departmental library is also present. Amenities in classroom are well organised and developed. Sports such as Cricket, Football, Chess , Badminton, Carrom, (200, 400, 800, 1500) m race, Javelin , Discus, Shortput , Kho kho , Long and High jump etc. are played. Extra Curricular activities like drawing, cleaning playground, tree plantation, Water day. NSS unit is there, RIC club, Dance club, Photography club, GDSC club, Carq, Robotics club, Cyber Security club and many more .

Room is big enough for 3 people together, Shelves are also present and 1study table per room. Meal is very good as the menu is decided by students only. Hostel is available from 3rd year for boys and for girls from 1st year . For more information please contact college office. It is affordable because for admission in hostel 1st time nearly 16000 and from 6th sem. It is 125000 aprox per semester. PG s are available at 4k approx . Locality is also nice and good.

Eligibility: 12th pass in Science with Maths and minimum 45 % marks required. Preferably West Bengal domiciled. For reserved candidates aggregate 40 % marks required. No GD before admission, No interviews. Test is based on MCQs during the time of WBJEE exam, a rank is provided then through e counselling everything is handled. Choices must be filled properly during counseling or else every thing will change. Always keep the 1st preference in 1st then 2nd , 3rd and ... Then result of 1st round if seat is alloted and favorable then take addmission otherwise upgrade sheet must be submitted which will be available in WBJEE portal , then again 2nd round if seat is alloted well and good take admission as no more upgradation. I prepared by seeing the previous year cut offs which are available in WBJEE portal. More or less the cut offs are same. Then one should make their preferable University, college , departments according to his or her choices sequentially.
