College with good values

Overall the college can be said as good.In 2016 it stood on 96th rank of MHRD.One gets a nice environment to study and a excellent college life and good placement.

I came here through COMEDK .Based on rank i got Cse.There was no interview but an online counselling procedure.Cse has good placements and is the future of engineering

Cse will be fun for u if u are interested in coding. The better u are with coding the better will be ur placements.In cse i guess there is no scope of research atleast at undergraduate stage but in branches like civil mechanical the research initiative are working out very well

No internship will be provided by the college but u can apply for number of companies details of which will be provided by the college. You can apply for that and if u get selected then u can be as an intern in top mnc

Nie is a very reputed college of karnataka and gives better placements than most of engineering colleges of banglore.The placements will start from 3rd year itself and will go till end of 4th year.For CSE ISE ECE the placement are good. Approximately 60-70 college visit every major ones being cisco sap labs oracle infosys accenture etc.Average package of CSE ISE is around 4-5 lakh.

The one drawback of this college is its fests .Only a few fests will happen major one being technieks in month of march.Besides all sort of sports competition occur in college from time to time.The fests are not a big scale event but are sure to participate. The authorities arrange the event pretty well

Fees approximately 1.8 lakh for 1 year.For 1st year students it is 1.9 lakh but from 2nd year it is 1.8 lakh (2017-2021 batch).

Scholarship are provided by UGC and if u fit in any criteria then u can avail the scholarship. As for now i have not been able to avail any. There is no loan provided by college directly but u can get education loan easily from any bank

Talking about extracurriculars the college provides all sports facilities.It has a football basketball badminton court table tennis and a gym. Besides this the college has many clubs like onyx ieee force ishvaku robotics club which provide u ample opportunities for exploring ur inner talent.

Yes i am in hostel.Rooms are small but its managable.for 1st year it is 3 person a room and fro 2nd year it will be 2 person in one room.Hostel fees is 75000 which is cheaper than other colleges and food is okayish type.It will be hygenic but u know the taste will not always be awesome

The college has a strong alumni network. From time to time the college provides interactive session with alumni's where they share their experiences with students.The most famous alumni of college Sri narayanamurthi contributed 15 lakh for library books and has helped in building a new electrical department building

There will be exams every month in the name of internals.But the paper is not very tough nor the syllabus is lengthy.U can chill and study a day before exam and get good marks.Lab exan will be only once at time of semester exams. Since it is an autonomous college the paper will be made and checked by college faculty itself unlike vtu college which gives us an advantage

Most of the teachers are good but like in every college there are some teachers in this college too who don't know how and what to teach. The teachers are very friendly and will try to help u in every way possible.Most of teachers will not make u write down notes but will give u in pdf or printed formats
