Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is really good in nature and also supportive in nature. Due to small in size of building we can easily get in touch with our teachers and ma'am. They are very good in their field and I solve all my doubt by discuss with them

Placement Experience

From the 3rd years onwards everyone got chance for placement and intership. Minimum 6-7 companies come here to take and the package is from 4 lpa to 12 lpa depend on your talent and interview rounds. Allmost 98% student got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of btech CSE is 5lakh approx for 4 years. It placement is 100% and hight CTC is 12lpa and Lowest is 4lpa .We also get scholarship of svmcm that's help us in managing the fee of college. Almost every company come here for recruitment.

Campus Life

We have many fest like tech fest,and robo rally, ARDUINO project and many more. Our college also organised seminar every week and our classroom is full of AC and all room are designed with digital room.

Admission

I took addmission through wbjee having gmr rank of 12000 and got admission in TFW quota and I have to pay the minimal fee of approximately 1.2lakh in 4 years. This college is situated in Kolkata near Basanti highway. You can go there by taking bus 213 from sealdah station as my home is at Naihati so I took train to Sealdah and then took 213 number bus to reach my college. It took approx 2 hours to reach there. The faculty is best and due to small in size of college every teacher has their eyes on each and every student. Our college has only 4 department that are CSE,IT,BT,ECE. So due to less department we can easily communicate with our teachers. They are very friendly in nature and always try to help us in every situation of our life. Our college has many circiculam activities e.g tech fest, football match,music event and we also have many clubs like robo,coding etc. Overall my college is very good and supporting in nature.

Good Faculty but Average Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant for beginners and covered important computer subjects like programming basics, DBMS, networking, and computer fundamentals. It helped in understanding the foundation of IT and software. However, the curriculum needs more practical sessions, coding practice, live projects and industry level skills. Exams were conducted semester wise with internal assessment, and the difficulty level was moderate. Overall the curriculum is good for basics, but it should be updated with more modern topics and practical learning.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. The average package is 3.5 lpa .Most of the student get hired by tcs. Placement success based on branch and skill.

All our professors were very helpful and kind to everyone. They were always one step forward in helping us in every way possible. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. Our course curriculum had data analysis and econometrics, which every company looks for. The topics taught were relevant. Semester exams were not very easy, but our professors prepared us in every way. The pass percentage was approximately 85%. Students were among the top-ranked in the city.
