Likes

I have like the way the student curriculum is in the college
I really like the faculties cause they are really friendly and they can help you out in every way possible
The seniors you have in this college are really good so you do not have to worry about how you can proceed in your path

Dislikes

The only down side about colleges the campuses a little small not just bits smaller than other so I have to manage about it
Do not have nothing to say in this so yeah
There is not really anything you have to dislike in your college

We do not have to talk about the faculties and their qualifications they are friendly enough and they are overqualified so they can teach anything you ask them to and they will they are enough qualified to teach you what you have in your degree what you have to read in your degree they will help you in any way possible

We do have placements in our college but the thing is this in inter College placements are not really that good but if you can try enough so you can actually pull of a really decent paying job inter College but college not not the college the facilities and also your age OD and the placement and also everywhere so you can get a job insider outside the college not just a job a decent job to you can get inside outside the college

Fees and Financial Aid

In this university this scholarship system works a little differently if you if your one of your parents have a government job central government to be exact and the income is after a certain level so you are not you not eligible for the scholarships and so I don't really have anything to talk about that

Campus Life

The life in campus is not that bad but it's not that good also there are a lot of take fets not just take face there a lot of fest through out the years we have three clubs Yuva megatronics and Sargam they are constantly pulling of fest and its fun to join the first Soya every year they are like around 5 to 6 the clubs are doing

Admission

Yes I had to sit on a entrance exam it is called WP JEE and to ensure a place in the course I have doing I am doing CSE major you have to rank in between 30000 in that examination so you can seek your state in this college

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
