Course Curriculum Overview

This is not a general course thats why i choose this course . Since 10 i was good in biology another reason for choosing this course . Student : faculty 50:2 They are good at their work they are well experienced too Within every 3 months mid semester

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are various departments there are various projects and stipend. Many companies come to our college and choose students. Stipend offers based on their marks , skills e.t.c maximum lpa which is offerd by companies is 15 lpa for a btech student

Fees and Financial Aid

No fees hike and cost of my course is 3.5 lac But due to scholarship provided by our college I'm paying 2.8 lac as my total fees a certain amount is deducted before every semester fees There are different scholarships based on theri 12th marks

Campus Life

Diwali fest , Sarad Suveccha e.t.c Available books abd journals at library Smart classrooms teacher use projectors to demonstrate a certain topic There are many singing group dancing group formed by our college students . Any students from any year or any department can jain these group

Admission

Must have biology and chemistry in 12th Have to pass 12 Atleast with 50% There site www.snuiv.ac.in where you can find other necessary details. Everything in this college is good . A well maintained library e.t.c

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
