I feel myself to be lucky that I got admission into this college. The college offers many opportunities to develop ur personality.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college on merit basis by clearing the cut - off. There was no interview process. I took admission in B.com (hons) course. I had decided it in 12th to pursue this course after 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

I find the course good one , properly suites to my needs. The course focuses on almost of the subjects. In subjects like financial accounting there is practical learning too. The electives are as below: 1.Economics 2.English 3.maths 4. Pol. Science 5. Hindi

Internships Opportunities

The college provides opportunities for internship . The internship cell of college often organises internship fair to help students to get internship.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. Generally most students prefer to go for higher studies after their graduation. But out of those who apply for placements almost 70-75% students get placed in many big firms. Major companies which visits the campus r Deloitte, McKinsey &Co., Deutsche bank , BCG , etc. The average package is around 6 lakhs . The highest pqckage. Till now an average package of INR 20 LPA has been bagged by 5 students which was offered by BCG.

College Events

The main fest of SRCC is Crossroads which is a 3-4 days fest. It is the annual fest of SRCC which is marked by the star nights .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is good. The fees is reasonable and affordable. As such there is not much pressure on the family regarding the fees

There are some scholarships provided by the college on the basis of merit/ merit-cum-need basis to help poor students making education cheaper for them.

Alumni/Alumna

College boasts of many notable alumni and also hosts annual alumni meet. The seniors here are like family and they go to every extent to help you out.

Exam Structure

The evaluation in a particular course has 25% internal weightage and 75% external or end semester exam weightage While the 75% component is a three hour written exam, internal assessment is a mix of class participation, attendance, projects etc.

The faculty of this college is good and qualified. Everyone has almost of the knowledge related to the field they teach. The teachers are very helping nd frank. U can freely ask them ur doubts nd clear them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
