I liked the teachers since they get along with us as friends I'm in first year so till date every teacher I met was really kind and helpful and since this college has 0 tolerance against ragging so it is also admirable .
College has a small campus though it has a friendly environment

Course Curriculum Overview

Since This course is really growing in India with a great demand. The ratio of faculty student is 1:10 here . Almost every one has PhD else minimum everyone here has done Masters.Per year 2 sem exams total 8 since 4 years are there 4 Class assessment (CA) will be conducted

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there was a hike in fees this year only but it was done by the state government only after we enrolled in the course during the middle of the first semester we got this notice it is almost around 6 lac +.

Campus Life

Here we can find different clubs for sure ....but due to small campus students basically concentrate towards study and not so much towards co- curriculum activities so you can find clubs over here but not much active as clubs in different colleges

Admission

Eligibility of the course is to have a minimum 45 % in physics chemistry maths.....since I got in through wbjee examination I got a rank which wasater used during the counseling and by counseling I got this college.I think the admission process doesn't need any change it is good

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at IIT KGP is one of th e best among Engineering Colleges in India. With an average package of around 2200000 and overall placement percentage of around 80 (B.Tech+M.Tech). Students become eligible for placement either if they get PPO(Pre Placement Offer) from the company they are interning in in the 5th semester or when they are in the 7th semester when placement season begins. Around 1800 offers and 400 PPOs were made in phase 1 which includes 25 international offers. There were around 400 companies that visited. The highest offer was 21400000. Top profiles are Software, Data, Finance, Consulting, Quant and Core.

Placement Experience:

Before the placements were good enough like both on-campus and off-campus. The college really tried hard each year for placement offers and as i have heard from the seniors, it was quite good. But in recent times, there are literally no placement offers and even the college has given up. TPO that should manage such oppurtunities are of no good and they are not even trying a bit to bring it some companies for the placement rounds. Now only if you are good enough and know enough to crack off-campus placements, then its good.

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

A brief overview of RKMGEC

The structure of curriculum is not so great. Definitely there is a scope for improvement . We are under MAKAUT university and through job readiness perspective the structure of curriculum is below average. Quite Good Internship opportunity

The placement in this college is good . In our department ( Food Technology) . The Faculties are trying to provide us 100% placement. As a result 70% students are already get placement. But being a girl it's little bit difficult to get a good placement because the industries mostly want male candidates so that they can do shift works .

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
