The campus was good and clss rooms were clean
I made some good friends and they are now like family.
Some teachers and union committee had good relation with us

Dislikes

Office stuffs behaviour was so rough and its go on.
There is no such sports or activities to do.
They don't do any fest or cultural programs.

I choose this course because i have interest in it also i dont want to choose science or arts. You can go for this college if you want to study in howrah and looking for good bcom college. Some teachers are teaching so good that you understand everything. Exam's duration was 5 to 6 months in between.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarships but yea you can earn scholarship if you have 60% numb you have to fill a government scholarship form. And the fees divided into 2 steps per semester one is semester fees and another is exam forms.

Campus Life

I experienced only one fest that was freshers but apart from that there is no such fest or anything. Library room was good but not so much. There is no such sports or anything only have one gym room but that was also bad overall experience like social life or friends that was good but apart from that there was nothing.

Admission

Students who have 60% marks in commerce is eligible for bcom hons. You can find application form official site of the college. Need some College activity like sports and excursions. Also need some good stuffs. Existing stuff's behaviour is so bad.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Anything about SDBI ??

There is a central admission portal for all the students. After passing 12th you have to apply in that website for college addmission. After selection if want to Join Shibpur Dinobondhu institution you have to pay the addmission fees that's it. You are ready to go.....Read More

All About SDBIC

The college is just beside the main road so no transportation problem. The faculties are good they help us pretty much. The campus is a bit small. Everybody is very good. It is a ragging free and tobacco-free institution. But the classrooms are needed to be cleaned properly. The toilets are dirty. The canteen foods are not healthy. And the office staff are rude.
