Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Chemical Engineering Course and this institute is helping me well to achieve my goals in this course .. they also conduct extra guest lectures to clear my doubts if needed. In every semester industrial visits are their for practical experience of topics covered in classess

Internships Opportunities

Our college provide internship in summer. The students are sent to different industries according to their course and atleast 1 month internship program is held to enlighten the Practical skills of students

Placement Experience

Campus visits of companies are done frequently. Out of 60 students in class atleast 30 students got placement through campus. Average package for student is 4 lacks.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Approx. Fee of general Category Students is 80000. For SC category it is 7000 and OBC category it is 40000. Overall it us affordable for me.

Hostel Facilities

No i have residence in pimpri Chinchwad.. but i heard from my friends that hostel is too good.. mess facility is good

Exam Structure

Practicals are conducted every day and Exams.. preliums are conducted monthly to gurantee the progess of the current subjects sylabus

Here all the faculties are Phd and M.E qualified in their respective Branches. They use different methods to teach. They are too polite and encourage students to ask doubts and get their concepts clear

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
