Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I don't wanna drop and i love to study computer science and languages like python ,java,c++, and html css etc thats why i choose computer science and this college due to low price at all university of delhi not of very high expectation all though this collage is not very good as all other think due to past related to ragging ,and fights. but now it is very good collage our computer scinece faculty is top 2nd faculty among entire in delhi university all teachers are phd holders and they teach us very smartly . our exams are on the time and a little bit difficult to pass not very difficult its very easy if you study hardly all subjects at least half an hour a day.

Capmpus placements at our college start from the 5th semester onwards. We have had companies like Flipkart , Messho , Myntra, Maruti Suzuki visiting , offering a decent number of job offers . The highest package offered was 20LPA with an average package of 5LPA across various profiles. About 80% of students secure placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

This collage offers B.sc computer science honours course in the resonable and transparent fee structure . this fee include tution fee , misclenius charges and communicated upfront for financial planning. The collage hike policy is fair, provide ample notice for any adjustments. Financial assistance at this collage includes scholorships and on campus jobs. In the first year we get internships with stipend about 5k to 10k approx.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is pretty happening! The social scene is buzzing with clubs and groups for every interest. The annual fest, xtravaganza, happens in February and the tech fest , TechXtreme is usually in october. The library has a wide range of books and journals to support every subject. Classroom are well equipped with projectors for a comfortable learning experience. Sports and extracurriuclar activities are abundant, from football to music clubs. There's even a student-run website that keeps everyone updated about campus events and news!

Admission

I recently underwent the admission process for the B.Sc computer science (Hons) course at dyal singh collage,Delhi university , and i would like to share my thoughts on the overall experience. The elligiblity criteria were well defined and provide a clear understanding of the academic requirements for the B.Sc computer science hons course . This Transparence is appreciated as it helps applicants guage their elligiblity accurately. The online application portal was user friendly. Making the submission of details and documents relatively straight forward. It's commendable that the collage has embraced technology to streamline the admission process. The collage kept applicatnts informed through regular updated on the offlicial websites. Important announcements and cutoff releases and subsequent admissions rounds were communicated promptly, which is crucial for applicants to stay well informed. There were some technical glitches on the portal related to payments and documents submission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a research-oriented field with a dynamic set of papers in it, i.e., biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, physiology, pathology, immunology, genetics, pharmacology, epidemiological data analysis, toxicology, and many such.. Handsome parts of the syllabus and books match with the MBBS curriculum. I got into this course as I was earlier aspiring for NEET, which I couldn't crack. The faculty to student ratio is 1:6. All of the faculty here are Ph.D.'s from various prestigious universities from both India and abroad. Some of them are even double masters or Ph.D. holders. The term exams were held at regular times each time without any delay (just a bit of delay in between because of the catastrophic COVID-19). Post-COVID, everything has now resumed seamlessly and punctually. In order to ace the term examination, one needs to thoroughly go through the syllabus, essential readings, and class notes.

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue research in the future. We had a 1:20 faculty-to-student ratio. Teachers are well qualified and are well informed about current topics in this field. We had exams after every 5 months (a semester system).

Higher education has never been more accessible, and there have never been more options for every type of budget, learning style, and goal. Having so many options is great, with one caveat. You have to decide where to pursue your goals. It's a big decision, and it can be hard to find quality and pertinent information to help you on your way.
