Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which i opted was B.com (H) in Accounts and Finance. Its a 3 year course. •I chose this course as it suited my Core course which i was pursuing that is of a Chartered Accountant. •The faculty members were quite knowledgeable and experienced in their subject. •In approax the student:Faculty ratio was 25-30 :1 • Faculties teaching us were having masters in their field and even many of them were Chartered Accountants who had expertise in accounts and finance. •There is 2 semester exams each year with a total of 6 semester in the perios of 3 years. The difficulty level is moderate, one can clear it easily if he/she is honest to his/her studies.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college do offers internship opportunities with good companies with respect to specific fields of interest among students which contribute to the overall development of the student along with good exposure of the practical environment. As regards to me personally i didn't do any internships through the college as i was having my Articleship under CA course.

Placement Experience

4

Students get eligible for campus placement after their Graduation. College takes initiative via campus placement so that students get their decent start as a professional. •I didn't sit for a campus placement so i don't know the companies which came for job offers, but as heard reputed companies come for offering placements •The lowest package is 3.5 lakh p.a which goes upto 7 lakhs p.a for a B.com fresher. •60-65%% students get the placements in approax. •My plan was to get the degree for being eligible for Jobs once I become a Chartered Accountant.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure consits of yearly payment of a lumpsum annual fees ranging between Rs 30,000 to 40,000 depending on fees hike in the subsequent years. •The college is a reputed and a bit high profile one due to which the fees is comparatively on slight higher side. •But it gives immense platform for the students with various ambitions in life. •scholarships are available for the students who were exceptional in their 12th examination. Students getting above 90% in class 12th get upto 100% scholarships with respect to their 1st year fees. •After graduation there are campus placement facilities also provided by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is quite cool, there are basketball courts and indoor activities rooms consisting of snooker, billiards,Table tennis, and other games. •The college attracts the students with a nice cafeteria which serves great food. •There is a large library in the campus which allows to take the books freely via Id cards. •There are a series of fests being conducted among which one is Umang held annually in which Big Bollywood stars come and perform. •There are digital classrooms equiped with all advanced amenities.

Admission

The Admission process was Online through The college website. There was no entrance exams but there was preliminary assessment of the marksheets and Application form submitted online for the purpose of selection. Following are the additional points one can consider while applying for this college: 1. One must be a 12th Pass student for being eligible. 2. Application forms and notifications for the same can be Found in the official Website of the College. 3.The college offers scholarships with regard to the annual 1st year college fees to students who scored above 90% marks in their 12th exams but many students are not aware of the same. This issue must be resolved by college officials by including a column in the application form for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
