Entrance Preview

There was no such entrance and interview for the admission to the course. Admission are purely on the basis of first come first serve. Admission is based on 12 class cutoff percentages.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good for a student who wants a career in computer science field. 3 year of course consist of two skill enhancement course which are Android and PHP. After the completion of the course one can be able to design his/her software's , apps and websites. In 4 semester we have to submit a project on website designing. With detailed procedure on how the website was made.

Internships Opportunities

No internship was provided. But central placement cell provides internship

Placement Experience

There is college placement cell as well as university's central placement cell. Last year approximate o 30 companies had come. Companies like delloite US, Hitachi ,TCS , callcentrix, forex have visited till now for interviews. Average package was 3 lac per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No the fee s was not affordable. Behind self financing course the fees was to high. In first year it was 41,000 +examination fees as per subject chosen. In second year it was 45000 + examination fees. In third year it was 49500+ examination fees.

Faculty is well qualified. Lack of faculty for new subjects like android, php and internet technology. The faculty is very interactive. Faculty uses various means to teach like projectors etc to show live compilation and running of program in theory class.

Placement Experience:

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

So I didn't really apply to any of the colleges I filled the preference sheet in the csas portal and I got selected in this college. I chose this college because it was very convenient for me, not that far and not that close from my house. No I didn't get any rejection from any other colleges. The admission process for my college is through CUET conducted by NTA, The eligibility for my course is atleast 45% in 10+2 and the exam accepted for my course is CUET only. CUET is the exam mostly preferred by the students, cutoffs for this exam for my course was 650 for general and around 550 for my category. I was made to prepare a list of colleges that provided the course that I opted for. So I made a list of all thr college in accordance to my convenience and what I wished to get into. My first priority was obviously a north campus college such as hindu college, kirori mal, hansraj and likewise. Then I proceeded to add the rest of the topmost colleges that came under south campus. ARSD Emerging College of South Campus (NIRF 7)

To get admission into ARSD College or any other college in the University of Delhi you should have an aggregate of 60% at least. 12th appearing or 12th pass. You have to give CUET (Central University Entrance Test) and score as high as you can. Application fees for General, OBC, and EWS candidates are RS 600. For ST, SC RS 550. For applying last date will be the first week of march and the exam will be conducted in the last week of May. It may vary. Delhi University Releases its cut-off based on CUET Scores for various colleges. I availed reservation of OBC NCL which is 27% of seats. My score of CUET was 609 and I got ARSD College.
