My college experience

I choose the course because it's my dream and thapar University is one of the most prestigious university in India for engineering. The faculty is very nice and they provide enormous teachers for students benefits. All the lecturer are with PhD degree and we'll qualified. We have to give exams 2 time in a semester with gap of 2.5 months each . They are difficult to pass as the level is quite high

A various companies visit our campus every year like jp Morgan, byjuys etc and provide alot of internships opportunity, it is important for a student to get internship and make projects .making projects play a very important role in getting internships as most of the companies nowadays focus on your skills not grades so .

The placement of my college is very nice .it is known for its placement. Variety of companies like Deloitte, Google , Microsoft, jp Morgan visit thapar every year.the highest package is 55 lacs and avg is around 11-12 for computer branches. The student need to maintain atleast 8+ cgpa and internship in third year . My plans after the degree is to take job and live peacefully

The fees is quite high it's 2.35 lacs per semester for computer branches although thapar University provides enormous scholarship opportunities by which students can afford also the environment here is so good to grow . We have 111 societies. For scholarship student had to maintain 8.5 cgpa per year and it's on merit basisc

There are alot of sports cultural fests in our college . Thapar University is known for its fests . They provide alot of opportunities to everyone. There alot of clubs in our college too which helps us to grow . It's conducted in January.

Rooms are nicely cleaned and we'll maintained.also they sent helpers who clean the room daily . The meal quality is also nice of mess they provide a variety of food so students don't get bored . The registration of hostel is also through thapar admission process and price is around 135000 per year for hostel and messages

Application form were available on thapar official website, minimum 75% required in boards for admission, there is no addmission test , the admission is on basis of jee and boards . Usually there is reservation for students under Punjab category and basic sc/St reservation. The application fee this year was 1500.
