Lovely professional university provided a platform for me to bost my knowledge and develop a needed skill set to survive in the industry and it boosted my confidence in many ways because of which i was able to attend many different events that are held in lpu itself

Campus Life

College life at lpu is very prosperous due to its crowd us we students get to interact with student's with different cultures and different languages and clubs at lpu are on another level as they organise many events that are on different levels

Admission

I choose lpu over other colleges in the country because of its icar affiliation and better placements in my course and i was very mesmerised by the Infrastructure and the learnings here at lpu as one of my senior is a alumni of the college

Faculty

Facilities here at lpu are are very helpful and they teach every student with care and my course here at lpu provides both book knowledge and practical knowledge both in a very efficient way and exams system here at lpu are great they have a very good management for exams

Night Life

Nightlife at college is very great due to colleges canteen and the uni mall here at lpu that has got every brand you wanna eat and there is well maintained large gym in the campus and grounds here at lpu are very well maintained

Good campus life with decent academics

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Many students choose these colleges bcz they saw big names on paper like cloud, database, python, java, linux but in reality they dont teach properly after admission many faculties skip practical portion covers only theoritical portion that fells worst to students and after 9am to 5pm classes student feels tired and not able to do self study.
