Likes
- The only thing i liked about HRC is the Placement that was offered was higher than the rest of commerce schools in india except SRCC
- The infrastructure is well equipped with all the amenities that a student requires to study.
- The college is fully equipped with all the sports facilities
Dislikes
- Gym is not well maintained and the timings are very odd for students to come and train.
- professors are very poor especially the teacher who teaches MPA.
- Canteen still isn't opened for students. Many students have to opt for expensive alternatives to nourish themselves.
Course Curriculum Overview
1) I chose this course because i always wanted to do something in the financial field and make my name in the financial world. 2) for every faculty:student ratio there is less number of faculty comparing to a batch size of 80-90 students divided in 4 section. 3) the faculty are well qualified for teaching but their teaching methods are very poor. 4) the term exams were well timed but it was stretched for very long. the difficulty level of test are medium, any average joe can pass with flying colors.
Internships Opportunities
Bajaj offered an intership 25k per month in summer internship for the role of marketing trainee to a second year student of B.com(h). Lots of projects and internship are offered to 3rd and 2nd year students. internship ranging 20-40k were offered to students this year to senior students.
Placement Experience
1) from 5-6th sem students are eligible to sit for campus placements in college. 2) 350+ companies came to recruit during 2021-22. 3) avg package was 7 lpa. highest package was 34 lpa ctc. most of the profiles offered were marketing. 4)60 percent of students were placed during 2021-22 5) my plan is to do MBA from an well known institute from abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) the fee hike policy was not called out for and should not have been at the first place after covid. the cost of study is high in delhi uni, as the hostel and pg prices are at equivalent and it may cost 10-15k a month to survive here in delhi. 2) no scholarship availed
Campus Life
1) ecstacy happened this year in the month of october. 2) lots of books are available in college library. from arts to commerce to science every subjects are available here. saw a almirah full of journals of many great authors. 3) classrooms are fully equipped with air conditioners and fans, are well ventilated during summers. projectors are in good conditions. 4) sports and ECA are the main hype of Hansraj. most of the students are engaged in ECA activities at HRC. 5) societies/clubs are active in the college premises. one of the student run org ENACTUS runs a Mitti cafe in the college premises (100 percent of the employees are physically disabled)
