- The vibe of the north campus. The side to side location of colleges.
- Also the kamla nagar market which is just at the back gate of hansraj college.
- The overall ease of reaching the college.
Dislikes
- The admit card verification process is too stressing.. even after the attendance percentage above 67, students are forced to sign the undertaking.
- Some professors dont teach even after coming in class.
- Sometimes classes get cancelled and students are informed just at the time of class.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum under NEP will be a little hard for a normal school student to understand. It will take some time to understand the framework of marking system and all in the course. I further want to set up my career in banking sector thats why i choosed bcom hons. All of our professors are well educated and they all have Phd. Degrees in their respective sector of education.
Internships Opportunities
Many societies like e-cell and many more like that organise internships from reputed companies. Also students can get internships from outer sources. They are quite easy to find and also students can opt for government internships.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for placement after 5th semester and even just after 4th semester in some colleges. Many students get placements. In hansraj college companies like Delloit, Hdfc Bank pay their visit for placement. I have plan of attempting exams for government banks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is simple though... not so much opportunities are there from the side of college for scholarships. Only some government scholarships are there, i haven't applied for financial assistance till now. Stipend jobs are not provided in the beginning, afterwards one can get placements
Campus Life
Campus life is too good here in north campus. It totally gives a idol college student vibe. Different colleges organise different fests on festivals. They are amazing. Many societies organise fests for students. Societies also organise informal parties for members. If we talk about library books are available one can get issued for a period of time.
Admission
I had given Cuet exam to secure my admission in Hasraj College under Delhi University. Firdt i registered on Cuet samarth website by submitting all details along with registration fees. To be updated for all the application form and all.. . Be attentive to youtube videos. They tell everything very clearly about these entrance exams. Then after giving exams i waited for my exams result which was 720 out of 800. It was normalised score. Then i set up all my preference for college on du admission portal. After that i was alloted hansraj college for bcom hons in the very first admission round. Thats it.... then i paid up the fees and freezed up thr seat.
