I opt this course because I wanted to study something related to computer science. The faculty is very good I would say. They are friendly with their children. Their teaching method is also nice like the way they explain the concepts and all

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of cources in Delhi University are like not that much, it's around 20000-25000 for whatever course you're pursuing. Although I didn't get any scholarship but yeah that okay. Coming to Jobs, as I'm a first year student, so I'm not having that much idea about that but yeah I've heard that campus selection of Miranda house is very good. So let's see

Campus Life

The life at campus of the college is no doubt a beautiful life. Freshers took place every year somewhere between October - November. Coming to library, books are always available there whenever we want to study.

Admission

Miranda House is the Number 1 College of Delhi University (north campus). Overall the college is good. The canteen area the commonhouse all are just more than awesome. Specially the Basketball court, it's one of the fav things of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
