Course Curriculum Overview

This course is a well known course from Jamia and also a job oriented and professional course . There is a lot of facilities always present for students . The level of exam is not a date and held every 6 months

Class Size: 44Course Fees: INR 7200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There Is some of scholarship like Jamia teachers association scholarship , nsp scholarship . We can see every year a bit of fee hike . There is some placement cell which provide internships . Fee is not much comparing to other colleges

Campus Life

Anual festival held every year and also different departments arrange there programs. We can take any book from jakir Hussain library. Sport complex is also available for sports quota students. There are some clubs for music and for dance .

Admission

Minimum marks required is 55% . And all the pre admission process is done on internet . There is 50% Muslim reservation which also afterward devides in OBC , general , girls . Also there is bit reservation of internal student studying in the school of Jamia .

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Course Curriculum Overview:

The richness of literature always attracted to me. The curriculum didn't hold books of bookish nature but had real works. The teachings of the course aren't of spoon-feeding kind but something which made us explore, research, learn and re-learn by ourselves. Maybe a more feedback-based teaching could improve the teaching methods. And less importance should be given to additional papers from the core such as SEC, VAC and AEC (new papers according to the NEP)
