- There very less seats for the Hostel and hostel allotment process is hectic and very bad.
- There are many political activitues going on and it hampers our study.
- Even on minute minute things the college gets closed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this to boost my coding skills and headstart in my career. It has been great learning here in Jamia in such a diverse environment. The faculty here are all well educated and have a deep knowledge in their respective fields. The Faculty student ratio is the point where one have to compromise as its not good. The Exams are held on timely basis and at their respective time.
Placement Experience
Students can sit in the placements during their 4th Semester and are eligible to apply for internships. Highest package offered was 4.5 lacs per annum while the number of students placed are quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study depends on the department you are in. In my course its 8000 approx. for the first year after that its 7400. One can get financial assistance through various trusts and federations which xan be availed on the basis of your reservation under the funancially instable class.
Campus Life
The fest are conducted every year by various departments. And there is also Annual Fest conducted every year named as Eid e Jamia or Convication. The Books are readily available in the library and they can be issued from there for 15 days maximum. The best part is the sports complex its such a unique and well kept sports complex with Basketball Court, Tennis Lawn Court, and the most important Cricket Stadium where national trophies matches are conducted. There are many clubs and groups run by srudents including Coding and Music.
Admission
Im order to take admission in Jamia, we have to first fill the application form of Jamia after Registering at jamia jmicoe portal. Then we have to regularly check the portal for any schedule of Entrance test and admit card release date. Then we have to give the entrance exam at the campus only. We have to regularly check for the list of selected cabdidates at jmicoe portal of admission results and once we get the list of seleceted we search our Roll number in the list or filter it out. Then comes the most hectic part of admission process we have to get all the documents ready beforehand and we can also make them at the campus only from gate number 4. After getting through the councilling process and document verification process at respective department we get the confimation of our admission. The only mismanagement I observed is that there are no seniors for us to help us through our admission and the teachers attesting the documents were also very rigid and non-cooperative. Thats all
