Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course Bachelors in Arts (Hons) History because I had a keen interest in reading history and wanted to learn more and more about it. The teachers are very helpful here and the way of their teaching is so helpful.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The teachers in the college help the students a lot in getting a good internship related to there career or interest. There are many internship like the vice chancellor internship for the students which was provided by the delhi university itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is also very good in this college. They provide us with different kind of scholarship which help the students to get more and more and also the fee confession is there which makes it easy for the students to get the fees.

Campus Life

The college and the university provide us with many fests, sometimes good, sometimes bad. The fest is all depended on the crowd that how much crowd is coming in the fest. There is library in college which provides with all the basic and necessary books. The classroom is also good. There are students of sports quota Or from NSO who play games and participate in different inter college or intra college competitions. There are many societies run by the students like western dance society, classical dance society, music society, quiz society, NSS, NSO, NCC, etc.

Admission

The admission process was easy and the cut off the College was good so I got the admission. One problem that the procedures took time because thousand of students were there but it was all good. The eligibility for the course was based on the cut off provided by the college.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats.
