Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I had little bit interest towards computer science and engineering but I was not getting that but it is quite similar like Many courses between ECE and CSE are common their so that's easy for us to study

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 285000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are different kinds of internship opportunities in different field , you can work with profs or there is specifically internship season for 3rd year where companies come to hire students for internship

Placement Experience

From 7th Semester student get eligible for campus placements , companies start coming from 7th semester and all the test are conducted first , interview are held afterward the test in month of December . We have Placement in 2 phases .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite less if we compare this to private college, they charges you quite a large amount of fees for any course whereas this is government college , currently I am in 2nd year so I will get internship from 3rd year

Campus Life

Life at campus if too good including many campus clubs for overall development , campus clubs are mainly of 3 types , cult , tech and others. Coding culture is considered to be on of the best of our college because of tech clubs and all .also thomso biggest cultural fest of north India is organised in our college .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility we will say it's just only livable, facilities include WiFi, table , chairs , bed and fan , no ACs are provided . Food is quite food as compared to many things. Registration of hostel is done just after the academic registration

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Basically we have to give JEE a nation wide examination conducted for IITs, NITs and many of the IIITs, eligibility of the course is that you can give JEE advanced along with 12th and once again after 12th while mains can be given 3 times

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
