Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in mechanical and automobile related things . Faculty here are highly qualified and have a great knowledge about what they are teaching. Faculties are highly qualified with PhD and a they have also published a number of journals, including international journals. Term exams are conducted after completion of half the syllabus and other half after that.

Internship can be done from any prestigious companies which we prefer and, there is no limits and the value of certificate should be high . College does not tell us to do internship from a particular company only, we are free to choose any company and do the internship.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for the campus placement form seventh semester onwards. Cisco-25lpa Hyundai -7.5 Air India -10 and many more The highest package in 2023 was 25lpa which was given by Cisco 40-50% of students are getting placed in various companies

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike is not that much and the money we give is worth every penny. Scholarship and financial assistance are given to the students in need. Good companies like Cisco, Hyundai, MRF etc come for the campus placement.

Campus Life

Sattva is a arts and sports fest conducted in the month of December or early January. Dishna is a tech fest which is conducted in the month of October or November. A wide collection of books and journals are readily available in the library. Amenities in classroom are similar to other colleges. There's a lot of sports and extra curricular activities in the college Social groups and clubs like thinker hub,IEEE ,etc are active in the university.

Admission

To avail the addmission in this college one should clear the CAT ( CUSAT Addmission Test) exam. All details regarding the application form, application fees and application date will be available in the university site

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.

College at the heart of kuttanad

The university is very much reputed when compared to other universities. It was my great wish from childhood onwards to study under Cochin University. The conducts an examination named CUSAT CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) every year. Students can attend the computer-based test and ranklist will be published in the university website afterwards. Students with top ranks will be allotted. The overall admission procedure through 3 allotments and followed by spot allotment for which the student should be present at the university in the exact date and time informed by the officials. Admission to this college is strictly based of cat rank.which is an exam conducted by cusat every year.This college have NBA tier 1 accreditation,only 3 colleges in kerala have it .
