Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in economics so i selected the course. In my course the faculty student ratio would be around 1:22. Teachers are all well qualified and have good teaching methods. Semester exams were held at a gap of just 3-4 months and some were really tough as well.
Placement Experience
There is an internship society which allows students to get internships. For placement there is a placement cell through which students get placement. Companies like Deloitte and Bain are the top companies taking arounf 20 students from the college. Highest package must be around 5-7 Lakhs. There are various profiles offered including equity research or consulting. I plan on doing MBA after getting my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hiked by a minor amount this year. It was in 10000s but has rised to 11350. Scholarship opportunities are non existent of very limited. Financial assistance is given to low income students and student aid funds are also there. Only placements are given by college and average package is around 2 laks
Campus Life
There are a lot of societies in college which have their events. College student union occasionally organises a fest limited to college students on a not a very large scale. There are abudant books in library. Classrooms have basic facilities like any other college. Sports especially football is very popular and has a very good team as well. Overall if one takes part in societies then it's a good campus experience
Admission
Admission was through CUET. Anyone could apply for it and select 5-6 subjects of his choice to attempt. The application fees was not much and the CUET was held in two shifts and all exams were computerised
