- The scholarship opportunities provided by the college,as it was a government college many benefits were provided to its students such as train concession, government schemes for child education.
- The faculty helped a lot to its students so that they can score well.The environment of the college is quite strict,which provides the student to focus on its studies.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college,the hygiene of the college is very low.
- There was a bit partiality in the college coming from the seniors
- The canteen of the college is very bad.Eating food from there is a disaster.
Course Curriculum Overview
I persued B.com,I choose this course because I wanted to do CA simultaneously. There is almost 60-75 students in each section.We had 4 sections. There were almost 20-25 faculty staffs in the morning session. The teachers usually talks in Bengali,and makes us study on a exam oriented manner. The term exams were moderate, whatever was taught in class was asked in the term exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is very low considered to the other colleges.My whole graduation was done within 10,000 rupees. I didn't got any scholarship as I didn't applied because I was persuing CA course. But there were many scholarships provided in the college.If have to apply before our term exams.Eligibility is based on our interview and teachers.
Campus Life
No annual fest is conducted,freshers is for the new comers in the month of September. Jaipuria has a very big library,all the types of books are available.Maximum 5 books at a time can be taken from the library through the library pass. No special amenities are provided in the classroom.Wooden tables and chairs with a chalk board are only available in the class. Sports was conducted according to the management decisions.In extra curricular activities dance shows,ramp walks, group projects,singing was conducted. Social groups was run by the senior students,they conducted various types of activities in the college also used to arrange picnics.
Admission
No entrance exam was held. Your 12th class percentile and accounts marks is taken into consideration for admission. Application form and information about the college is available in the college site. No reservation benefit availed. I wish there was early updation of college updates in the site,further no one receives the phone call in the college to talk about the admissions .
