Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because due to some financial circumstances, I don't spend 5-6 lack for my master's degree. Where I found that SNU give this master's degree with almost 60% discount if you have atleast 8.5 CGPA or above in your bachelor's degree. the faculty and student ratio is 3:7. The faculty of the college is so advanced educated and well knowledgeable in their field. In a semester there is only 1 term. It's quite easy to pass the exam.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

in the Sister Nivedita University College in masters of Computer Application department placement is normally like so good but there are mainly service based companies are come like TCS Wipro cabling Capgemini cognizant deloit Accenture British telecom byju's like this kind of companies are come from placement but the job role is decent good like take development analyst and many of these kind of available for degree students.

Placement Experience

In final year the students are eligible for on campus placement. Usually some of service based companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture are coming for placement. The highest package is 14 lpa from MCA. Atlist 8 above CGPA is required for campus placement. After getting the MCA degree, I want to join IT companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is value of money. But the fees hike policy is poor. The cost of study is high. There is one in house scholarship called 'SNU merit base scholarship'. On campus jobs are not good. No big startup are coming for placement.

Campus Life

The annual fest is not so big at all. No tech fests are available. There is a good and big book library in this college. Almost all books are available regarding any degree courses. The classrooms are well cleaned and beautiful. No sports are held in this college. But yes, there is a basketball court in the campus.

Admission

Normally completing any graduation degree you are eligible for this master's course. You find the application form from the college official website. Application fees is zero. No reservation benifits. Admission process is so well planned.

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder.
