Course Curriculum Overview
As a career in economics is highly rewarding and there are plenty of opportunities in this field, so I chose this course. At Maulana Azad College, for every faculty, there are approximately 42 students. The faculties are good enough. It is not so difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Yeah, they do provide internships. Especially, BCom departments. All though every department provides internships. The students get paid quite well while doing the internship program and it is good too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annually we pay approx. 1615. By taking the scholarship we can continue our study. The cost is affordable. It is a Govt. College. Thus, the fee structure is reasonable too. We have to pay exam fees every semester. The price is affordable. The fee structure is better than any other college.
Campus Life
In MAC there does not occur any annual festival. But in the economic department, the students organize small programs as in this department there exists a society. The Economic society is very active. The books and journals are always available, if not, they take some time, and make them available.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is newly established. It is very clean. The hostel is better than any other govt. hostel of any college. The cost is also affordable. In one room there are four beds, 4 tables, 4 chairs, 2 shelves. The bathrooms are also clean.
Admission
There was no entrance exam at the time of the pandemic. At first, they provided a provisional merit list based on the 12th result, then day by day they called students. They would send messages to the student who got the chance, and that willing student had to admit herself within a specific time.
