The course curriculum is set by University of Calcutta and is designed in a way that truly helps you understand the subject. The Economics course has a lot of quantities and analytical teachings as a part of the course. The course is useful for those aspiring to work in research, corporate sector, public sector etc.

I have chosen economics because it affects. Everybody's live through important areas like taxes. Interest rate building flation. Economists provide the tools by which analysts can study the cost benefits and effects of government policies in range of areas that have a cosine. The swimmer issue that's when ratio in our college is 66 is true. 37 female to female ratio. All the teachers have done masters or have pdh degrees. Odd semesters is during january and even semester, holds after the summer vacation during August.

As a career in economics is highly rewarding and there are plenty of opportunities in this field, so I chose this course. At Maulana Azad College, for every faculty, there are approximately 42 students. The faculties are good enough. It is not so difficult to pass.
Syllabus is updated this time. No, we don't get any internship after this course from college whereas other courses, they have some people coming and giving them internships. Santanu Ghosh Sir is an amazing teacher and have been supportive since day 1.
Calcutta University follows the CBCS pattern and so does our college. The professors of our department are really helpful. The HOD of our department is really good. We also have some guest lecturers from other colleges.
Faculty bwise, it's not the very best College, the teachers are also not very cooperative. There are very few teachers who are interested in teaching. There aren't any attendance pressure too. The office people in the student section are helpful but if you are really looking forward to get admitted in a college where you want to get a good college life, you should not opt. for this College.
The syllabus is formed by Calcutta University under both Part and CBCS system. Students and teachers share a very friendly relationship. Professors are all highly qualified and provide us with immense knowledge about the subjects.
The faculty is really good and professors are very up to date with the syllabus. The professor's are diligent and they give their best while teaching. Professor's are friendly yet strict. We have exams too.
