Maulana Azad College Kolkata Faculty

There are no words for me, the college fees are so good, always low.The college's sports department, student section, everything is good. We have cricket matches with other colleges every year.And our Bengali department sir is good.

The faculty members are nice and helpful. There's not a huge barrier of hierarchy and everyone respect everyone. The student to faculty ratio is fine too. The Economics and BCom departments are among the best. Overall the Arts faculty is supposed to be better. Bengali, Physics, Biology departments are also quite nice. This college also provides BA in Arabic and Persian. Urdu has both UG and PG divisions. Sociology deptment is not that up to the mark. Subpar, I'd say at best. Up untill 2022, CBCS system was followed. So there is semester system and each academic year is divided into 2 semesters. For 3 years, there's total 6 semesters. There are also internal exams between semester and projects in Arts departments. The couse curriculum follows the one provided by Calcatta University.

Faculty-to- student ratio is 8:17 in second year of chemistry. Our chemistry professors are exceptionally talented and knowledgeable, always motivating students to excel. Their passion for teaching and dedication to student success inspire a love for the subject, fostering both academic growth and a deeper understanding of chemistry. According to me our HOD or head of the department of chemistry Dr. Tapan Kumar Karpha is the best and my most favourite professor in our department because he motivates me to excel in my career always.

The faculty members are enough good... They maintain a good relation with the students. However the professor from my own department are the ones I like the most... Apart from that microbiology, economics and English department faculty members are quite good. Apart from that there are 6 semesters in total for a 3 year course... And on average the examination are of moderate... But the marks given are tough under the university of Calcutta

The faculty-to-student ratio is very good (approximately 60:40). The faculty-student relationship at Maulana Azad College is excellent, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Professors are highly approachable, making it easy for students to seek guidance and assistance. I liked all of our faculties. All of them are amazing teachers. According to CBCS syllabus, an end semester exam is conducted by the Calcutta University for each of the 6 semesters. Generally 90% of the students of Maulana Azad College clear these exams in first attempt.

Faculty is one of the best in the education scene in Kolkata. Our HoD is an eminent writer with multiple publications that are appreciated nationally and globally. Other faculty members are heavily experienced with decent attitude towards students.

The faculty to students ratio in our department is 4:26. The Professors are too good and highly qualified as all of them are doctorates. I personally understand a lot of things from them and I also feel relaxed to ask any doubts. So I really endebted to them for my career.

Faculties are really very great they are well qualified. And very friendly behaviour. But for 80 students I don't think 5 professors are enough so atleast 10 professors is required. They are good but the management is very bad because in this college classes are not held by time.

The college professors are highly qualified and helpful. Some teachers are have done their PhD and research from top foreign universities. The professors do their best to explain a topic. The faculty to student ratio is approx 1:7.

The faculty are good , knowledgeable and highly qualified . Professor have a very helpful nature and teach students practical knowledge. They help students in research. The semester are quite tough but the faculty member do their best to make it students for easy. One of the best thing is that not Only teacher but also a students are vey co operative.
