Course structure and syllabus was interesting with an emphasis on research

Dislikes

The practicals are more hectic than other colleges of DU
Less space for sports and other activities like yoga, aerobics, dance, singing etc
Less extra curricular events (not counting seminars, workshops, and talks)

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because I had an interest in Psychology and I got to know that only 2 colleges in Delhi University offer Applied Psychology and Ramanujan is one of them. The faculty is very nice, and supportive, and encourages students to research which benefits us greatly after college. Faculty is quite well versed, they have completed their Ph.D. or are currently pursuing it. They are also working on many research projects. Exams were timely as per the Delhi University exam schedule.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I was not aware of the scholarship and financial assistance. But during the admission, various discounts are given for economically weak, civil servants, army, etc. There are job fairs held in the college and there is a placement cell also.

Campus Life

Campus is small but sufficient compared to othr Delhi University. A new building is being constructed so that is a benefit for for people who are taking admission in 2025 and after that. The library is fairly small but sufficient to the needs of the students at for master level. Campus has a football ground, cricket, badminton net, and open gym area. These are all shared areas.

Admission

The admission process was very easy. I was admitted on the basis of my merit of a score of 12th boards. All the information is available on the Delhi University portal and the website of the college. Delhi University released the cut-off for all the courses and colleges, post which we were required to apply to the desired colleges whose cut-off we passed, through the portal. However, this Admission procedure has already changed now that all eligibility is checked through the CUET exam.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet. what happens at ramanujan college?
