I like the faculty of my college. The teachers are very cooperative.
I also like the campus, the infrastructure of my college.

Dislikes

There is no girls hostel in our college.
The auditorium is bery small. The old one was burnt years ago and it is still not constructed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason for choosing BCom was the placement benefit. DU gives a high placement opportunity for Commerce courses. The teachers are highly skilled and cooperative. The exam was not so difficult but a bit technical, concept clarity was a must.

Internships Opportunities

There are a number of internship opportunities offered. The internships are available for both work from home and in the office. The stipend varies as per the performance. Some have a fixed stipend too. There are various roles offered like consultant, HR, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunity is quite impressive. Placement rounds begin after the completion of the second year. One can even get the placement before the completion of an undergraduate. But for that one has to maintain the cgpa and have a good hand in aptitude.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Kirori Mal College are minimal not so high. It is approximately 13000 per year which is quite affordable. The average placement is 6-7 lakhs per year while the highest is approximately 30 lakhs per year.

Campus Life

There are a number of societies for us. Whether it comes to extra curricula or academics there is a balance for the same. Whether it comes to dance, drama, music, or marketing there are various societies as per your interest.

Admission

The admission was based on the CUET exam. The minimum cut-off for the BCom program was 760/800. The website for the application form was cuet.samarth.ac.in. The charge for the application form was 1500. All those who wanted to be admitted to DU were required to take 3 domains and 1 language combination.

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

A Balanced College Experience with Supportive Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
