Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose B.Sc (Hons.) Maths because I wanted to study Maths. Faculty:Student ratio is 3:42 Teachers have Doctorate Degrees but not all teachers' teaching methods are good. Some teachers' teaching methods are good and some teachers' teaching methods are not good. 1st Semester Exams are going to be conducted from December to January 2023. B.Sc (Hons.) Maths is a hard course.

Placement Experience

3

Students usually get placements after or in their final year of UG/PG programme. Percentage of students getting placements varies from programme to programme. Highest and average package as per company and profiles offered also varies from programme to programme.

Fees and Financial Aid

There got little hike in fees. Cost to Study in KMC for B.Sc (Hons.) Mathematics = ?13940. I did not get any scholarship, financial Assistance, any job. This is my answer in short with full details for the above question.

Campus Life

3.5

Social Groups ran by students in the college include Social Service Scheme(Big Social Group) and Clubs ran by students include Adventure club. Annually College Fresher's Party and also Departmental Fresher's Party get conducted after around 2 months of start of odd semesters. Books are available to all and can be issued by using library cards and identity card. 3 Books of the type - Maths, Science, Commerce, etc. can be issued from one type of 3 library cards and 1 book of the other type can be issued from one other type of library card. Amenities in Classrooms include ACs get operated in some classrooms, Desks with drawers, Long Blackboard and Chalks. There are also sports and extra curricular activities on the campus like - Football, Volleyball, NCC etc.

Admission

Eligibility was to take minimum 4 subjects out of which two should be English(language) and Maths as compulsory subjects and two more subjects out of their given list which must be in your 12th Class. For example - I had Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Physical Education as other 4 subjects and I chose Physics and Computer Science from them. And gave CUET and as I got eligible for my preferred course in my preferred college, I got that. Firstly, you will get to know all from CUET Samarth Government Site and then from DU CSAS Portal if you want to take admission in DU. Reservation Benefit is that you have to compete with your category candidates on the reserved seats. No, Admission process is good.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
