Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I love the field of Computer Science and this field is actually an emerging one. The faculties are great (except a few). Most of the faculties have done their PhD from recognized institutes. Ahh, the exams are the worst. They are like one after another. Each Semester You'll face 4 Common Assessment Exams and Two Practical Assessment Exams. And finally End Semester Exam. The exams are of mid difficulty I would say if you've studied throughout the semester on a regular basis.
Internships Opportunities
To be honest, our college doesn't provide any internship opportunities to its students. We have to work hard to get internships off-campus. So, very few students opt for internships during 2nd or 3rd year.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent enough in this college ranging from 4-10 LPA . and averages between 6 LPA. Companies like PWC, Capgemini, Infosys, and others are the recruiters. A maximum of 90-92% of students are getting placed as can be seen from the college website.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes about the Fee structure, Currently it is 5,90,000 for the admission year 2023-24. I took admission in 2021 and it's gonna cost me 3,91,000 overall (Excluding the extras and End Sem Exam Fees). You can apply for various Scholarships like SVMCM, and OASIS. You can google these and check your eligibility.
Campus Life
There is an Annual Tech Fest named "TechStars". These are usually conducted in the months of January and February. The library is huge enough to satisfy your needs in the field of tech. Don't expect a great campus life because there isn't one.
Admission
The Admission exam I took was WBJEE. With a rank of exactly 18,301, I got a seat in Information Technology at my College. Anyone passing class 12th can apply for this exam and students need to go through counselling to get a seat in this college. Sometimes previous year cutoffs are also useful. There are no reservations available as this is a private college.
