Dyal singh college is situated near metro so we don't have to travel far daily
Campus life which is main in student life is much better in dyal Singh College apart for other things. Teachers are friendly and helpful
Faculty members are helpful and enjoy teaching

Dislikes

There are certain things I dislike in dyal singh college which are there is no a proper place where students can sit and enjoy there free time
There is no hostel for boys and girls in dyal singh college so students have to rent out rooms in nearby places

Campus Life

Priyadarshan is an Annual fest conducted by dyal singh college in month of February every year. The fest is highly celebrated and students do enjoy the fest. Dyal Singh college has a massive library situated in the middle of the college with books of more than 1.5 lakh. The college also provides various sports and has a basketball court, football ground, NC ground, a badminton court, an archery court, volleyball court.

Admission

Admission was based on 12th-class marks. The eligibility of the course was you should have maths in class 11th and 12th. Now admission is based on cuet score but there are some places where it can be improved like in subject combinations.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I applied to various colleges under Delhi University and got merit based admission in Dyal Singh College in English Hons programme in first cutoff. I applied for this college in first round of csas and freezed i didn't for any other college .The exam required for admission is CUET. my course is BSc physical science with chemistry and to be eligible for this course you need to have pcm in class 10+2.In cuet you need to give paper of pcm and a language is compulsory . Call of the Unbiased

Admissions are done through CUET UG and then CSAS counselling. The Science department of Dyal Singh College is one of the best in all of off-campus. In some other aspects, like student engagement, fests and events, campus size, fame, DSC might be behind some South and North Campus colleges, but it's still arguably the best in off campus, and even some south ones too, as a science student, my personal preference except North Campus was Venky > ARSD > DSC > Rest of the south and off campus....Read More
