Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BSc life sc. because I had a great interest in chemistry. I really wanted to do some courses related to it. Chemistry Hons was my first priority but later I came to know that I needed maths for that and didn't opt marks in my 11th and 12th standard. The faculty of my college is really nice. There are approximately 77 students in my class. These 77 students are divided into 4 groups. There are different teachers for different groups and we get nice attention and teaching. Also, the faculty was well-qualified. The main examinations were held at the end of each semester. But we have internal tests and practicals going on in between. Some of the tests were hard while some of them were easy.
Placement Experience
From 2nd semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies come and make their offers. The average package is 4.75 LPA. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. 150+ students are placed from our college and 130 companies have visited in total. My plan is to crack UGC NET while appearing for placements at the same time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my college is 15150 for one year. I felt the fees were quite affordable in my scenario. Seeing all of my friends' fee structures in private schools, my fee structure is quite good compared to the excellent faculty and campus. Yes, we are provided with scholarships.
Campus Life
Yes, there are regular programs held in between. But the main fest occurs during February and all. But to be very honest the big fest in dyal singh includes major fight scenarios. Apart from that the programs are really good. And I have to mention that the sports activities are also really good at the campus. In fact, I am there in the volleyball team so I can say the environment is really good. Also the social life and parties are great too.
Admission
The eligibility of the course was physics, chemistry, and biology for which I appeared under CUET. All the related information was available on the CUET Samarth website. I made my payment on that website. And all my allotments were visible there. I also availed of reservation benefits. I fall under the OBC category. And no, I would not like any improvement in the admission process. However, I would like to see some changes in the process while we apply for colleges.
Other Applied Colleges
Jamia Millia Islamia University-[JMI] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Chemistry)
Jamia had a separate form that had to ne filled. I registered for jamia under CUET. By the time I came to know about this form, it was already closed. They opened and closed their form in the same month . So I couldn't go for it.
