Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I have chosen is actually based on both software and hardware thus after completion of my course I would have multiple options to head-on, I have chosen this course. We have nearly 30 faculty members in my course and approximately 10 are lab assistants. Most of them are Ph.D. graduates. They have different teaching style but all of them are easy to communicate, friendly, and helps us to improve our skill and knowledge. Exam timing was with a gap of 1 month where pass marks were not too hard but to score good marks we needed to study hard.
Internships Opportunities
ACCENTURE provides internships in our college. It provides the role of a Java developer, backend developer, Frontend developer, Full stack developer, and many more. Projects like URL shortening, and many more.
Placement Experience
From 4th year we are eligible to sit for campus placements. Recently TCS, ACCENTURE came to our college for placements and about 70 people from our course got a job offer. The highest package my college received this year was 12 lakh/annum, and the average went around 4 lakh/annum. About 85% of students get the placement. My first and foremost plan after my degree is to get in for a job but if that does happen then I will study further.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, my course is for 4 years and its total cost is 395000 which is a great price if we compare its location and other colleges' fee structure. since I am in 3rd year I haven't received any job yet but in 4th year we will be having placements. In our college companies like TCS, IBM, ACCENTURE and many more come and take students as their employees.
Campus Life
Annual fest and tech fest launches around the month of March and June. We get all the author's books from our central library. We have a smartboard and projector for digital class and when we have our presentation we use those amenities. Since COVID-19 hit hard, after that we didn't have any sports events in our college except Cricket tournaments.MAKAUT Students Council is a WhatsApp group that helps us to achieve MAR points and this group is run by our seniors.
Admission
It was in the year 2020 when we got to know about the JEE and WBJEE exams, which will help us to enter different colleges. The higher the rank higher the chance of getting into a good college. Since I am from West Bengal I was preparing for WBJEE which is only for West Bengal Colleges. My course required 20000 and below rank where I was ranked 15469 thus I was eligible for the course. After choosing the college I just searched the details from their website and YouTube channel. I got all the required information from the website of BPPIMT.
