Course Curriculum Overview

I have a great interest in the stream of biotechnology so I opted for this course. The Faculty-student ratio is 1:20. All faculties are PhD Holders from IIT and foreign institutes. The institute is very punctual towards exams and which happen at fixed intervals and it quite has a medium toughness.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Reliance provide internship of 25000 in textile Amazon provide internship of 1 lakh per month. Microsoft also provides an internship of approx. 1 lakh, there are some companies that provide research opportunities.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Last year Microsoft took 36 students on 44 lpa, and trident took 6 students from textile only on 18 LPA. Overall 80 percent of students got placed My plans after getting my degree are to do corporate jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

There has been no fee hike in recent years and there are many scholarships available by the institute for students and students who have low family income also get scholarships, all top companies visit campus and there are good placements on our campus.

Campus Life

Technician and Utkansh are fests in November and April. All books are Available in libraries. There are good sports facilities but not very good. TTA and TCA are clubs run by students. The classroom has a very great infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

There are enough hostels for students. Mess food is above average. And hostels are affordable the meal price is very decent, and hostel wardens are good. No scene of ragging will be found, inter hostels Competitions are held to promote activities and sports.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Admission in any course required JEE ranks. I got to know about this exam through my coaching. The admission process was good, there were teachers and other staff who helped us. And overall it was a great experience.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
