I got around 93 percentile in Jee and I am from the general category, another state so I got the biotechnology. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5. the qualifications of the teachers are very attractive like some of them come into the world's top 2% scientist. there are 2 exams in one semester midsem and endsem.

Internships Opportunities

internship opportunities are given by Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA and so many others with a good stipend. we have to complete a major and a minor project in our 3rd and 4th year. roles provided like webd, software, data analytics, and many others.

Placement Experience

student can apply for off-campus placement and internship in any semester. but college allows from the 5th semester. there are about 200+ companies visited in our college. the highest package is 44 LPA in on-campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

there is no hike policy in fees and the cost to study is very low for those students who have a family income of less than 1 lpa. There are many scholarships according to the cgpa and financial condition. re is about 10 lpa avg placement.

Campus Life

the annual fest is Utkansh and the tech fest is techniti happening in likely Feb and March. there is 2 library in our college and the availability of books and journals are nice and also under improvement. classrooms are well equipped. sports and extracurricular activities are good and enough. One can get any kind of club in our college.

Admission

eligibility for this course varies in different categories of students and different state students. like there is about 75% criteria in 12th and have to clear jee with a decent percentile like minimum is 91 percentile for other state student and for home state 85 percentile. the application process is scheduled by csab or Jossa. especially SC st have more benifits than gen ews and obc students.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
