i lked the infrastructure of the college.
campus life is good for only 2nd 3rd and 4th years students
faculty is ok ok some proffers are strict

Dislikes

it is not open campus college.you are not allowed to go outside after 8pm
location of the college is 15 km from the main city
intraction between senior and junior is not good

Course carriculam is good and as per latest syllabus.Average 100;1 IS Ratio of student and faculty member. Syllabus is completed on time.All faculty memebers are well qualified. this is a good college for btech.

from 3rd year students are eligible for placement. Many companies visit here. placement scenery is not good here many students go for off-campus placement. Around 55-60% of students got placement from here.

Fees and Financial Aid

We haven't seen fees rise here in the last few years. we have to pay 92000 per semester. There are many scholarships here but it is only for the category student. if you have a category then there is a relaxation the fee.

Campus Life

the annual fest is Utkansh and the tech fest is techneti which is organized in the month of March or February. library is a good all books are available here. a new library is under construction. if you are interested in sports this college is good for you.

Admission

I took admission through JEE Mains. I participate in jossa councelling and got this college in the 6th round.I have obc couta which gives a benift of around two thousand ranks. admission process is easy here. you have to carry all your document as mentioned there.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
