Sports fests and competition in college are great.
The clean and green scenery of college is great.

Lot of assessment and assignments is hectic in college life.
Useless strictness are really bad and heavy fines for silly things.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great and being a computer science student technology always excites me and teachers provide great projects which helps a lot in enhancing my skills. Also, the faculty is great and helpful. All the Faculties are Ph.D. holders.

Class Size: 165Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, and many more companies visited this year for internships. Around 20 students got internships on campus. The internship culture in my college is great and fantastic. Seniors are very happy and satisfied with internships.

Placement Experience

Placements in my college are top notch and the training and placement cell is continuously working hard in recession time to maintain a 100% placement record. Very big MNC come here to offer placements and internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for different castes, as an OBC student I was given 70% fees, and the total college fees were about 1.96 lakhs. The college has great opportunities for scholarships and jobs. It has a 90% placement record.

Campus Life

The life on campus is great. Seniors are very helpful and college is raging free. It has a mentorship program in which seniors provide tips and tricks to deal with college projects and crack placements.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is great and the mess food is also very delicious. The hostel staff is very helpful and friendly. It has to lift and the environment is also good. The hostels are very clean and students are very sharp-minded.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

The admission process is easy. First of all, you need to verify all the jee main documents and the verification is in physical mode. For admission purposes, you need to appear in the jee examination and the admission process is very easy and healthy.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
