Over colleges provide college placement at 3 year or 6th semester and almost 30 students are placed in placement. Jindal Stainless Limited, Metso Outotec (MO Group) ReNew Power Private Limited, and TheMathCompany are companies that provide placement. 30 percentage students get placement in nit Jalandhar.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is according to semester wish odd semester fee is 53k for OBC and 48k for the OBC category. Medhaavi engineering scholarship is an NIT scholarship and its eligibility is at least 55 percentage in 12th, 80000 less family income and a person can use this scholarship at one time only. An average of 10 students got a job on campus

Campus Life

Utkarsh, Flash Mom, techniti events are conducted by students and fond was provided by the college to the event performance club. On the sports day time, one event was organised by the college in which every sports competition occurred. Different activities have different clubs and they did practice every day.

Hostel Facilities

In the room, two members shared a room. Two bed, one table, one chair and one fan is provided by the college in the hostel. Hostel academics are organised by the college and the registration process is also gone by the college. PG room also available near area of college

My college eligibility is jee mains and the cut-off is 46000. categories benefit is also present and female students have extra benefits for admission. we want to improve document verification and academics also.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
