Central Library :- I alredy said that only thing which attracts me .
College Gate:- it was amazing 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Bus system with no any cost:- college run their own bus , for every location where students. probably staying

Dislikes

Placement :- According to our seniors placement is very bad of college .
Internship:- no any type of better internship programme
Syllabus system :- there is no any type of core syallabus like C language . C language will be studied on next year whereas in other colleges there C language are studying in 1 year of 1 semester

I have no any option that's why I choose Assam University Silchar, ECE. The faculty is good,I have no type of faculty issue they are very normal with every student. The student ratio is not balanced boys are very high as compared to girls. exam timing is proper and passing only should not require too much effort, it is easy to pass any exam if you are regular in class then you do not need to apply extra effort to pass the examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is a yearly fee you have to submit. Cost to study There will be no hostel for 1-year students so it will be very costly to stay outside and very tough to fulfill outside fees for a normal family. No type of scholarship, financial assistance, or job rarely you got in this college.

Campus Life

in one month I will only attend a tech fest for engineering day called PROUDYOGEEK 3.0, which was good. the library is good the only thing which attracts me and all my friends. sports culture & extracurricular activity is very poor there is no any types of competition. Few are IT Club, Coding Club etc.

Admission

I gave Jee main in 2023 and my score was 88.08 percentile on the first attempt and 90.50 percentile on the second attempt on the basis of my 2nd attempt score my overall CRL is 107271 then I will participate in a counseling process called CSAB, In 2nd round I have allotted a seat in Assam University Silchar. they said that you have to fill out a form for your admission and for the form they demand 900. After the form filling admission process is done. I took a lot much time approx 4-5 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

I want to apply to RTU ( RABINDRANATH TAGORE UNIVERSITY). But due to insufficient funds couldn't take addmission. My seniors are there and told me it is good university and genuine when i heard about thier marks it is very appreciable.
