I like the Campus , tho its very small but its ookay .
The best part of Friend circle and the crowd
People are enthusiastic about their future and want to get out of this college with best opportunities possible

Dislikes

Cricket and Football ground , they dont even exist , there is just a field to play , no lights , no maintaeinance , nothing !
Teachers and Profs are not good in teaching , tho their qualifications are good but teaching style is not good
Peer Quality is not good because of the reservation , A hell lot of People are from poor category which makes the crowd poor too !

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curisulum is kind of strict but it depends upon what you are doing and what branch you are in . Faculty members are well experienced but the thing is , their teaching style sucks and if you are from Online learning background in oyur JEE days then you will surely find it difficult to cooperate and to adapt it

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is moderate , for me , its around 12 lakhs for 4 years of my Batchelors degree , there are a lot of Scholarships and other financial aids available for reserved category people and whose family income is less than 1 lakhs and 5 lakhs . Jobs are average , basically ROI is good but its not good if your hopes are high

Campus Life

There are a lot of events here and there in the campus every now and then but the problem with the events are that they are not well funded and lacks the feel and power ! Events are a lot but their management is poor and is kind of feel like its just happening for the sake of happening ! Environment is not that great and Competitive in case of Hackathons

Admission

Admission Process is through toughest exam of India that is JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and I scored 98 percentile and 24xxx rank in the same ! The Admission process is through JOSAA and CSAB . Councelling happened after JEE in which Choice filling was there in JOSAA

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
