Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have an interest in Circuits, Automation and Robotics. The faculty is good all are passed out from prestigious institutions like NITs IITs IISc. All are PHD and Mtech. We have Examinations like Mid-semester and End semester and quite difficult.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 51000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship Opportunity is also on campus many students are applying for Summer internships. You should be aware of that and should be prepared with skills to grab those opportunities. Many companies around 50+ offer internship

Placement Experience

NITs are famous for their Quality Education and Placements. In my college placement scenarios are good. Approximately 85-90 per cent of students are placed. There are more than 150 companies are visit. The Highest package was around 51LPA and the average is around 12LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a Government institution so The fees are Quite Low (60k Per semester) compared to other Private institutions But If Your Family income is Less Than 1LPA then you should Have a 100% fee waiver. And If you score More Than a 7.5 CGPA then get some Scholarships also.

Campus Life

The Campus Are really amazing And their always some activities happening around We Three Fest in the Year Bharat Dhwani which is on 17oct for NITJ Foundation Day and Tech Fest and Utkansh the Annual Cultural Fest. Also, Library are available and different sports activity clubs and Inter NIT competition

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are Really Good and Staff members are also decent and Strict about rules and Discipline. And You receive a huge variety regarding the Mess food their 4 time meal where 3rd is evening snacks which is optional. Washing machine are also available

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course is you should be 12th pass with PCM with a minimum of 75% marks and for SC/ST candidates it should be less. You should appear in the JEE mains Exam For the General candidate minimum score should be 96-97 percentile and for Other categories, it should be less there is one more Home state reservation.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
