NIT Jalandhar's experience of two months .

Got this course through Josaa counseling. Good faculty student ratio. Most faculty have done mtech and PhD either from any IIT or any NIT. Teaching methods depends on teacher to teacher . There was less time for mid term but they were easy to pass.

Well there are WhatsApp groups where people post requirements for intern and they pay like 3k -4k . They are generally alumni and seniors , official internships are done by the company and placement office . They invite companies and then students apply for these companies.

Well I don't know about placements as a first year but I think they are decent according to stats , there are campus placements, Nearly 75% students get placed . Highest package this year is 51 Lpa in cse and ece and avg is 12.44 Lpa

As compactor private colleges,it is definitely decent . Scholarship are available for economically weak people , many people (alumni , senior ) can hire you for some work and they provide stipend . For a first year it is hard to understand the working at first so take some time .

Library is pretty decent, most books are available. Classrooms have ample space and good infrastructure. Sports and extracurricular activities are regular, many events happend regularly.Many clubs conduct there own events like prayas for teaching kids who don't have money .Well campus is of decent size so events are not that huge. Clubs - Prayas , Bhangra club , Athletic club , Gdsc , animaniacs , kalakaar

In hostel , a room is provide for 4 people , with 4 beds , 4 almirahs , size is decent , washrooms are decent and regularly cleaned , Washing machines provided . Mess food is decent and menu keeps changing regularly. There is breakfast, lunch , dinner , snacks and sweet dish.There is online registration facility for hostel and mess ,

So I gave JEE , and based on the cutoffs , i got this. Application form provided by Josaa and admission process done by Josaa and then at physical reporting . Well the online process should be marketed more and more information should be provided early on.
